Palm Centro, Evolution, and GCal

The new Google option in Evolution works beautifully for both contacts and calendars, and gnome-pilot syncs my Palm Centro perfectly with Evolution. Perfectly, that is, until I choose a Google destination in the gnome-pilot settings. :-k
Any ideas?

I have a Zire22 in Lucid with exactly the same problem. No problem to sync between google and evolution, no problem to sync between evolution local calendars and palm, but no way to sync between google in evolution and palm. When I try the sync, no errors are reported, but nothing is synced. I googled and it seems that most people don't have this issue.
I would thank a lot any help, because I really need this sync to get a job.
