I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 and have a ID 0c45:612c Microdia PC Camera (SN9C110). Is it possible to get this camera to work with Ubuntu 9.10, and if so, how?

Many thanks in advance.

Do you have Cheese Webcam installed?

That works for my webcam. You can look for it in your Ubuntu Software Center.

Let me know how that goes.

Apparently it is supported by the gspca driver.

I have cheese, but it does not pick up a picture from the webcam.

If it is supported already, how can I set it up so that it actually works? It functions under Windows XP, and the USB port it is connected to is fully functioning.
