So I have an old laptop running Ubuntu that can't go on the internet. The problem with that is to do anything in Ubuntu, you need to download stuff from Ubuntu update center. So I have a copy of Ubuntu and can't hardly do anything, because I have no way of getting essentials, such as (and especially) Restricted Codec package, so I can't do as much as watch a DVD.

The only thing I can think of is to have the apps I want already installed on the LiveCD I use to install Ubuntu. Dose any one know where I can get one, or how I can make one, or can someone here make one for me?

What I need on it is:

>Ubuntu 9.04 32 bit version (the laptop is from the 2000's era) <necessary>
>Restricted Codecs Package <necessary>
>Audacity (audio recorder/editor)
>E-sword or other bible program (Only the King James Version)
>I don't know if it would work well, but I would really love SuperTuxKart to be on it
>Did anyone make Media Coder for Ubuntu? If so, that too
>And some other things that would require more thought

(^ haha Uraeida)

Dose any one know where I can get a LiveCD with said apps, or how I can make one, or can someone here make one for me?

Thank you again.

Wouldn't it be simpler to use a small USB stick and put the necessary debs on it?
