gmail is slow: how to Gmail view setup the old version view always ? [Archive]

Hello,

With lot of emails, gmail is getting pretty slow. This can be helped with views:
Gmail view: standard | turn on chat | older version | basic HTML Learn more

But it remains to standard view always. How to setup forever the old-version view, much faster, since it is not into settings ?

Hmmm... I dunno, but if you use Midori only the HTML version will load.

My problem with Midori is that while it can handle most javascrpit every now and then you need to buy flights on-line or click a certain type of JavaScript link and nothing happens.

You can use an email client.
