You should mention that that is from xkcd (http://xkcd.com/265/) ,not just because it's the license (cc-by-nc), but also because it is part of a story arc, which is also cool. I think chaos theory and the game of life are much more shocking than relativity (hell i actually felt myself going crazy thinking about Quantum mechanics and the problems of the Copenhagen interpretation once, but that's a different story)
