libgfortran.so.1 and gcc

I have some problems with install libgfortran.so.1, on 9.1 desktop edition. When I tried to install the libgfortran.so.1, it shows the "Dependency is not satisfiable: gcc-4.1-base (= 4.1.2-21ubuntu1).

I tried to install the gcc-4.1.2-21unbuntu1 successfully.

However, the same message occurs. Dependency is not satisfiable: gcc-4.1-base (= 4.1.2-21ubuntu1).

Can you please help me with this.

Try to install libgfortran3 package. For me this solved the problem.
