Hi All,
I am new to ubuntu server so any detail help you can give is very much appreciated.
I am trying to install a Ubuntu Server 9.10 AMD64 to my HP DV5000 laptop. However, every time I have selected English and Click to Install Ubuntu Server and to to the point where it flashes "Start Log ....(something) daemon....(something)" it then turns into a blank page and the CD-ROM stops......
I have read some review said that if you have your network installed it will try for a long time to update software and suggested to unplug network cable. So, I did 1. wait for 1 day to update with network and 2. do installation with no network and the result are the same.
Can someone help me with that? Please I really wanted to use my laptop as a mail server and I know that ubuntu is the best.
