Why Republic of Kosovo isn't listed in any option of ubuntu that requires country like in Installation ?

NOTE: Kosovo declared it's independence on 17 February 2008 and has been recognised by USA , UK , Canada , France , Germany, Italy etc.

Yes of course, for now we choose Albania because we speak the same language, but we live in Kosovo.

No, because the US has a different type localization then everyone else. Not every country can be listed as an option, and sometimes you have to choose what's closest to you.

If I was from Kosovo, I would choose Serbija

NOTE: Russia never was for independence of Kosovo and still doesn't approve it.

well if kosovo is put on the selection list than they have to put northern cyprus, palestinian territories etc.. internationally those are disputed lands.
personally i support those so called disputed lands to be a part of the selection...

Locked. Political Topic. Under Review.

Update: Thread will remain closed, but open a bug report on the lack of Kosovo in the installation menu.
