Hi,
I just submitted an idea to the Ubuntu Brainstorm.
At the time I was writing it I was just hit for the 100th time by this annoyance and was naturally very passionate about it.
I'm still very up close with the problem as well as the solution so I thought it might be healthy to have some outside input on the matter.
