Hello there,
I have an laptop wich I upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10. That was a while ago.
Recently I'm suffering from this bug where somehow my panels just disappear, and reappear only seconds later, as if they were crashing.
It wouldn't be that frustating if some icons didn't disappear from my notification area. Those icons are Evolution wich uses alltray to get it in the notification area and MIRC (irc client) that runs under Wine.
I need to kill their processes in the System Monitor and restart them, 'cause otherwise they'll stay running on my system and I can't reach them. All the other icons just 'respawn'.
It sometimes happens occasionaly but random. I haven't figured out yet what action or program might be causing it.
Any ideas on what to do?:-(
Edit: I don't know if this is related, but when I shutdown my laptop, it sometimes says that AT SPI Registry Wrapper is not responding and won't shutdown until I click on the Shutdown Anyway button. I have no idea what that process does and it seems to be part of ubuntu.
