View Full Version : [ubuntu] Driver help - pimp up my screen resolution

Hi there,

I'm using the u-lite beta 0.8 release which is based upon the ubuntu hardy heron. This system is running on a toshiba staellite 2650 XDVD. The following problem occurs:

the screen resolution should be 1024x768 but the systems just gives me 800x600. In the displayconfig-gtk the graphic card trident cyberblade 9520 is correctly detected - but there's no driver for the xga 14.1" tft monitor.

So .. is there any driver to be added to the displayconfig-gtk or how can I solve the problem with lxrandr?

Any suggestions?
