Hello! Been running ubuntu steady for 2 weeks, and lately have had a few issues with my wife not agreeing with some choices on mouse pointers, desktop effects, ETC. So I made her a separate profile, and last night we finally tested it out. Everything worked great, until I came back into my profile.
I'm using the compiz desktop cube with a widget layer, with a few screenlets on said layer. Also, I have an icon on my desktop for my network hard drive, which is mounted ( keep in mind I'm not really trained up on the mounting thing yet). The network HD has all our movies, pics, and music.
When I got back into my profile, all of those items had vanished. I had to go back into network, find the network HD and remount...and I had to restart screenlets and reload all the widgets I had on before. Is there any way to save these items, or have them automatically restart when logging in or out of a profile?
