I confront with the problem while installing ubuntu server 8.04.3 on Raid 5.
The type of raid controller is promise super trak sx6000. while installstion the installer sees a partion on the hard disk, OS is instaled normally but during the installing grub in console two mistakes appear: unable to set title for fdisc-udeb and
configuring "grub-installer_faild with error code 1. a warning to indicate the download location by yourself appears. and installation ends. lilo also refuses to install.
raid is working normally. and massive marked as "boot"
what's the problem and how to solve it?
