Hey everyone,
I have just installed Xubuntu 9.10 (PowerPC Alternate) onto a PowerBook 3400c
Processor: PowerPC 603e 240 MHz
HDD: 40 GB IDE (5 GB with Mac OS 9.1, and about 35 GB with Xubuntu)
Ram: 80 MB
It boots fine with the help of Boot X, but I have no GUI. It takes me to a command prompt, with no apparent errors during boot.
I tried doing sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop, but I just see E: Couldn't find package xubuntu-desktop.
I am kind of lost here -- Does anybody have any idea where I should go from here?
I had Kubuntu 5.10 working before just fine, and I used similar steps to install Xubuntu. If anyone wants the exact steps, I can provide them. I think the install went through as expected, and I'm just doing something wrong.
