Something I did removed the Ubuntu Software Center from my menu & I believe it removed it from my system all together. How do I get that back?

Open Synaptic Package Manager, check if software-center is installed ?
Or first run this in terminal, if it is installed, it should open.
/usr/bin/software-center

OK. That launched the app, so it IS still there. THANK YOU!
Now, do I have to add it via the menu (which I can do since you've provided the full path)? or is there a way to actually bring it back so it shows up like it did with the correct icon & commenting etc?
Thank you.

Now, do I have to add it via the menu
Try System > Preferences > Main Menu
In the right hand pane, at the bottom, you should be able to place a check against "Ubuntu Software Centre"
That should do it.

There's nothing there anymore. It used to be there under the separator, below Wine. Now there's nothing under the separator.
I can just add it with this tool though, right? Choose "New Item" on the right, then pick the icon & I should be good to go? (in theory)

Yep. Should do :)
Icon should be here, (if you have any trouble locating it)
