Hi does anyone know what could be going wrong I tried installing ubuntu 9.10 on my Gericom P4 (Aldi) laptop it,s about 6 years old .
I installed ubuntu within windows xp then restarted it then gave me the option of windows or ubuntu i clicked on ubuntu it then went to the next screen then nothing.
So tried putting the disc in the drive and restarting i got to the pick country screen i then picked england and pressed enter and again nothing
