I'd like to get better with python; there are the 2 books - "dive into python" and "dive into python 3". Which one would you recommend? Is there a very big difference between the two (except for the version of Python they're using)?

I'm sorry if such a question has already been posted; I was not able to find a similar thread.

I'd recommend(without having read either book) Dive into Python3. Python2 is going to be dumped eventually.

even though python3 will eventually replace python2, it'll definitely take a while, and as such, most python programs written before and currently are still in python2, so your choice

Thank you for your answers; I chose "dive into python 3", and making a reference with the official tutorial (http://docs.python.org/tutorial/) if in doubt between the versions.
