Hi All,
This is my 1st post on the forum.
I have an eeePC1000H with the following partitions:
sda1 - ntfs
sda2 - ntfs
sda3 - ntfs
sda5 - swap
sda6 - /boot
sda7 - /home
sda8 - /
I used to have UNR based on 9.04 installed. A few days ago,
I installed 9.10 and formatted /boot and / but leaving /home
untouched.
On first reboot, there was a message saying that there was a
problem with some "window picker applet" and asked whether to
delete it or not. I chose not to delete. But when the system
had fully booted, I only had a panel with the date, battery and
network icons. I reboot but this time I chose to delete the
"window picker applet" thinking this would resolve the problem.
But the problem still remains.
Can anyone suggest what the problem could be and suggest a way
to resolve this.
Thanks.
frank.
