View Full Version : [ubuntu_mobile] Ubuntu 9.10 took longer to boot up, is this normal?

January 25th, 2010, 04:16 AM

I am using "LiLi USB Creator 2.3" and "unetbootin-windows-377" to create a bootable USB ubuntu 9.10 desktop without any issue but I have noticed that booting it from the USB Flash drive took much longer than Windows XP, Windows 7 or Fedora 12 USB Flash Drive.

Speaking of Fedora 12, I am using the same USB Creator software to create a bootable USB Fedora 12 and it took about 1/4 of the time to boot up to the login screen as compare to the Ubuntu 9.10 bootup time.

I am wondering if this is normal with Ubuntu or I am not using the correct ubuntu load.

Please advise.

Thanks in advance
