Hello, I've recently installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my computer. I only have one 500GB hard drive with Windows 7 installed on a 300GB partition. I deleted the Ubuntu partition and the swap partition through Windows and re-created them as three empty partitions at different sizes. I know that I now have Windows installed on the first 300GB partition and three empty partitions. I need to go into Windows but GRUB tells me I have nothing to boot from and it gives me a 'grub rescue>' prompt. Is there a way to get rid of GRUB and use the normal Windows boot loader instead?

Thanks.

Hi, to re-install the Win7 MBR, head over here --> Grub/XP/Vista Bootloader - Ubuntu Forums (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1014708)

Phill.
