Hi guys, I need help i have windows xp & install vmware of it,
in vmware in install ubuntu 9.04 and upgarde it to 9.10 upon upgrading the system is now asking for restart to load the new vervion (9.10) but theres a messege like this one

Mount of filesystem failed,84a86d-d550-47b1-8457-16c2a3987898
A maintenance shell will now be started.
CONTROL-D will terminate this shell and re-try
Give root password for maintenance

how can I log my ubuntu of desktop environment
please help me on these one guys.....
