Hi there,

I successfully installed windows 7 and ubuntu 9.10 and both working great together, after a while and installing some programs in ubuntu like pysdm and ntfs-3g.
I even logged out and in several time successfully.
but when I shut down the pc and open it again, the following two errors show up:

init failed to spawn mountall-shell post-stop process:unable to execute permission denied.
init:job-process.c 529: unhandled error from job-process-spawn permission denied.

And thank god my windows 7 still working
but what about ubuntu :(

any help please?

Also I guess this could help, my volumes are Ext4

I'm clueless but curious so I'm giving this a bump.

Just a guess but mountall-shell probably has something to do with pysdm. If you can still log in to Ubuntu maybe try uninstalling pysdm.

Another thought is since the original post is from 1/24 why not just reinstall if you could not solve it?
