App for auto moving across desktops?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has seen a program which sits as a background service, perhaps instead of a screen saver and automatically scrolls through the desktops you have when not using your computer?

Reason I'm asking is that I would like to show various feeds and info on multiple desktops.

I think compiz had a screensaver plugin that would do this (if you increased the interval between desktop switches)
