Hey there. I recently installed bootchart to profile my boot time, and I found out that it was horrible - 1:24.
I felt it was .. quite over the top, and then a mate was looking at it and asked me about "wmiirc" and other processes relating to the wmii window manager. Knowing that they shouldn't be there at all, I went through the chart thoroughly and found out that a lot of processes were on the boot chart that were started way after I logged on. Such as me starting urxvt(terminal), irssi and so on.
Does anyone know what could cause this? Believe me, I did google and I didn't find anything on this.
