Please insert the disk labeled:
Ubuntu 9.10 _Karmic Koala_ - Release amd64 (20091027)
in drive /cdrom/

When i try to install nvdia drivers using Synaptic Package manager it ask for this Ubuntu 9.10 _Karmic Koala_ - Release amd64 (20091027)
in drive /cdrom/ when I click Ok nothing happens. It keeps asking for samething over and over unless i hit cancle but that gives me this Some of the packages could not be retrieved from the server(s).
Do you want to continue, ignoring these packages?.

The cd i have in the cd rom is the one i used to install a fresh ubuntu 9.10 i disable one of my cd rom and set the only left in pc as Master. CD burns and plays not sure what else do :confused:.

I am going try installing Ubuntu on USB stick and see if that would work.

Maybe i can help others who has same problem as me
Well I solved the cd problem by going system-admin-software resources than i unchecked install from cd-rom/dvd.

but...
after i did that this what got for error
E: nvidia-185-kernel-source: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 4
E: nvidia-glx-185: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
E: nvidia-glx-185-dev: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured


any suggestions on this fellas ??

I reinstalled Ubuntu and solved the problem.
