CD Image Download -- Constant, or Variable?

If I download a CD bootable image of the latest version of Ubuntu at different times (while the "latest version" is still at the same version number, say 9.10), will I just get the same image again, or will the image reflect some package updates?

Constant. Once it is stable, it does not change.

9.10 is the version number, it won't change until April 2010 (which will be 10.04 LTS)
