HP laserjet 1018

Can someone please help? Recently I have upgraded to Ubuntu 9.1, since then I can not print to my Hp laserjet 1018. It tells me that the printer is not connected. I know this is not true because i run a duel boot system in which i can print from windows with no problem. I have installed HPLIP. It see the printer, and tells me that the page has been sent, then tells me that the printer is disconnected.
Does anyone have any ideal ???????????
