Hi,

I have been trying to fix this error to no avail all day, I am stuck with either a '800x600@61Hz' or '640x480@60Hz' I have tried using the drivers tool in the admin menu but that returns nothing.

The 'System Profiler' has my display down as:

Code:
-Display-
Resolution : 800x600 pixels
Vendor : The X.Org Foundation
Version : 1.6.4

I have spent hours fiddling with the xorg.conf file but that does nothing either! I have no experience editing an xorg.conf file. So if someone wouldn't mind doing me a mock up one, or copying their own xorg.conf file for me that would be great.

I am using Karmic Koala 9.10.

Regards,
Mike.
