I have had two problems since I upgraded to 9.10 in early January (or maybe right before Christmas). The more pressing problem is that my laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad z61) has a kernel panic every few hours. I kept hoping it would go away with new updates, but no such luck.

Has anyone heard of this problem? Suggestions?

I'd like to post the relevant bits from the system log, but I can't quite remember when it last happened, so it's hard to follow. Hopefully the next time it happens I'll be sitting by the computer and will know which minute to paste.

The _other_ problem is that the pdf printer is broken. There is a thread elsewhere on the forums for people who had the same problem, but the solutions that worked for them (reinstalling cups-pdf) didn't work for me... mine is definitely already working. Suggestions?

So, it panicked overnight again, and there is nothing particularly suspicious in the logs. The last thing that the log shows is losing the wireless connection and reconnecting.
