With my new Satelite dish (which is fantastic by the way), I have become accustomed to being behind days at a time in my recorded shows. It is amazing to me that I'd say within the last 5 years this technology has been available. In other countries outside the US, What kind of technology is there, if any? I'd assume in the UK & Australia & New Zealand things are similar, yes?

What are your thoughts on how technology has changed in the last 5 to 10 years?

I wouldn't want to live without DVR. My life is so busy that I rarely get to watch shows when they are actually on. Also, I like some shows that play at the same time. DVR is the only reason I got to see Randy Moss moon the crowd several years ago.

When I get to watch a show live, I end up getting really annoyed that I can't skip commercials.

Now for 3D TV without glasses. ;)

I use mine all the time, I especially like the fact that I can pause Live TV, to make a run to the fridge,or elsewhere. :). It also happens quite often that two shows I like to watch are on at the same time, so it comes in very handy.
