Well, I've been reading more and more on this over the years. I like the idea, I'm convinced of the benefits, now, the important part. Does anyone know of any tangible plans of how such a facility would look like? Say a floor-plan or a very specific/precise process?

I've seen a bunch of sites that just list benefits and advantages, that's nice, but it's old news to me.

Oh yeh, cost estimates would be nice :) .

I've often thought of this Idea and I imagine it something like a large parking deck. With open sides for ventilation. Maybe a hydroponic system, of some kind.

One of the other benefits would be that you could control the bugs, and keep them from getting inside so everything could be grown pesticide free.

There are many benefits, but at the moment it just seems like it's a pie-in-the-sky concept.

Just like alternative energy, it'll happen as food (oil) prices increase, as supply cannot keep up with demand.
