I have been using Linux for a wile now (mostly mint5, 6, 7, and 8) but these last couple weeks Ive been running Unbuntu, and now I'm trying to install Ubuntu Studio on a toshiba laptop.. everything goes well but the network auto config. i skipped that and went on, but now i can not get my internet to work.. I am trying to get a wireless connection from a wireless router i have here at the house.. Someone please help me, this os looks great and i would love to run it, but i need the internet.

I would think so! :)

I'm not sure how it works in ubuntu-studio (someone who is, feel free to jump in :) ) but in ordinary ubuntu there's a little program called nm-applet that sometimes makes it easier to configure networking. You can check whether you have that by opening a terminal and typing
locate nm-applet Somewhere in the longish list it should say /usr/bin/nm-applet.

If yes, we can take it from there.
