 I am new at this but have a fair amount of knowledge on this that I thought I could do this. I am getting an I/O error then saying error reading boot CD. It tells me to reboot, I do this and get the same thing. Can anyone out there help me resolve this trouble. I am loading the ISO i386, I burnt the disk myself, on a CD-r and had no trouble with that. The burner then verified the disk. please help if you can. I am putting this on a laptop HP pavilion, 20g hdd, 128 mb ram. But will not go any farther the opening screen of options. HELP ME IF YOU KNOW A SOLUTION. Thanks biigg

First: I'd download a new ISO, second: I'd make certain I'm burning it as IMAGE. If you have a 'funny' Display or Video Card; you are better off using the Alternate CD ( text installer ) It avoids Video and other Hardware issues.
