My Gnome is acting up, from as far as I can tell. Whenever I log in, the terminal is in the top-lefthand corner of the screen, and nothing else appears. I can use the terminal like one would normally use it, but nothing else shows up except for the Ubuntu 9.10 login Background. When I go back to the login screen (by manually restarting my PC), there is no selection for Gnome or KDE. Its like there were somehow uninstalled. Could someone show me how to reinstall Gnome on Ubuntu 9.10 please? Its a really tough time using the terminal for a first time Linux user. Thanks
