Editing menu items

I right click on the menu icon, and choose Edit Menus, and I can remove items at will but unticking them.

Except for games. They stay there. The tick is ignored and I have no way of removing them. Is this a bug?

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit, and it's fully updated.

Edit: Bump! Any ideas anyone?

I had this problem in 9.10 and it continues to be a problem in 10.04. please help!
