I just built a new system that is running Ubuntu 9.10 (64 bit). The system has an 80 gb solid state drive and two 1 TB hard drives in a RAID 1. The OS is on the solid state drive and I can access the RAID by mounting it but what I really want to do is make the user directories be resident on the RAID. I've changed my user preferences to make the RAID the default but it doesn't survive a reset. Any ideas?
