View Full Version : Roxio CinemaNow. Is it Linux compatible?

In the Home page they say the movies are in the DIVX format (which can be played in Linux), but in the "Rent Movies" page they say you need Windows and Windows Media Player to watch it.

If it works in Ubuntu (and other Linux distro) this could be a good alternative to Netflix.

You probably can. Unless it has DRM, if it has DRM on it, then you'll need to take out the DRM, you can do this.

$2.99? How is that a good alternative to Netflix? I've seen a couple of people on G+ that go on about Vudu, but that's an even bigger joke.
