I've got a Toshiba laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon 3400 Series. When I install the drivers from the "Hardware drivers", the laptop doesn't boot. It freezes just before the GUI comes up (With the Caps lock flashing). When I download the drivers from AMD and follow the guide provided here, the driver doesn't seem to work. When I type 'fglrxinfo', it gives me an error that may be the driver isn't installed. Is there a solution for that? I can't use the open source drivers because I need to utilize all features the card has to offer while working with graphics.

This is the exact error that the I get when I type fglrxinfo with the driver installed from AMD. Do I have to activate them or something? All I did is that I installed them following the guide.
