Recently I have noticed a change to the authorisation procedure on my system. Previously, if I (say) installed updates I would be asked for the admin password, and the install would take place. If I then installed something else or started up Firestarter firewall, I would have to re-enter the admin password; ie after each 'action' I would need to re-enter the admin password. Now it seems I only have to enter the admin password once, and I can do multiple action. For example after starting Firestarter (and typing in the admin p/w) I no longer have to type the admin p/w if I install updates. What's going on? PS I am a user of Linux, not much of a Linux 'geek'.
