Any reason you made yet another thread about the same thing?
Just try it already.

Yeah I've tried it. In fact, I'm posting this from my netbook running on F12. Actually, I really only use Fedora...
So yeah, go ahead a try it.

Why on earth would you run Fedora 12 on a netbook? That doesn't make much sense.

:KSI've tried it on virtualbox and liked it for what it's worth.
It seems to me like the ubuntu-equivalent of the rpm world, sotospeak.

Fedora 12 is a perfect distro for netbooks, part of the Fedora 12 feature list was a re-base to i686 and default tuned for Atom, which means it is one of the few distro's optimized for Atom CPUs.
I run Fedora on my kids Acer Aspir one, it works out of the box.

Why on earth wouldn't you run Fedora 12 on a netbook? I have it installed on my Asus 900ha; it blows away Ubuntu Netbook Remix for sure. :)

The Gnome version is OK. The KDE version is unstable.

This is the exact opinion I had while using F11. Never used it again. Tried installing F12 in a friend's laptop, didn't even boot! :o

Well, you can check out YeOK's response and, judging by how Fedora runs compared to a few of the other distros I tried, it's a great idea.
