How do I change the KDE desktop wallpaper? It, as far as I know, is pretty hard.

I downloaded a bunch of wallpapers through the gui, where are they saved to?
I want to use the slideshow feature but no way of knowing where they downloaded to.

I can't try downloading one myself since a known 4.4rc1 bug crashes plasma when I click Get New Wallpapers.

Regardless, aren't they saved in ~/.kde/share/wallpapers? Alternatively, ~/.local/share/wallpapers.

Yes, ~/.kde/share/wallpapers is right thanks very much! that was so frustrating haha... why they would be hidden from view is beyond me lol
