Hey everybody, today I was playing around with Ubuntu 9.10 on my laptop and have did a few changed I don't know how to fix.

First I was trying to setup different wallpapers on separate workspaces and I finally got it done with a online guide, but when I would setup a wallpaper on workspace 1, then I switch over to screen 2 and see the screen 2 wallpaper, the bottom and top of the taskbar's transparent and I can see bottom/top parts of wallpaper 1.

Example:

Workspace 1

Workspace 2, Notice the taskbar transparency image...from workspace 1

Now, when I was trying to make screen shots of my desktops, I saved them to the Desktop, but they didn't show up on my desktop. I clicked PLACES, then went to DESKTOPS and a folder opened up with my screen shots.

So somehow I have also made my desktop inactive.

Any ideas how I can fix these issues?

Thank you all for any possible help
