I read somewhere that the log in preference window will be excluded or (not sure) included in lucid?? I have had a blast creating custom log in windows in jaunty. and i hate the idea of losing what i created!!!!
i think.... that! how the gui looks is extremely important to ubuntu's success, so far the mac and ms have got our buts kicked. we can make some great improvements on our own but with great effort and not what the average user wants. Can we become the os of the common man/woman?
Crap! i used a mac the other day and a win7 i was so jealous! of just the basic look of the desktop!!!!! I want them to be jealous of us not us of them!!!!! well a lot of ranting but first what about the log in preference window? then the other comments.
