When I install Ubuntu 9.10 on Windows 7 64-bit. I tried the Wubi installer but it wouldn't connect to the internet. I am using a laptop. If there is anything I need to know, please tell me. Thanks.

Last I heard it wasn't working. Maybe it's being fixed!
Try 9.04 for now. The Grub problem shouldn't be an issue and you can check things out a bit.
