I've got a Philips 685 Mark II turntable, can anyone tell me what it's worth? I'm interested in selling it because it has a European power plug, and I've been trying for months to find a voltage converter/plug adapter for it to work in the US. Anyone know what I could get out of this?

I can tell you something about a turntable.

I have two of them.

And a microphone.

Where it's at.

One of the funniest posts I've seen on the forum!

Even if you convert the power, the turntable is probably calibrated for 50 Hz and you are driving it with 60 Hz. So I would expect any music played on it to be higher in pitch.

It's worth depends on how much you want for it.

I've seen a similar model go for about $70 USD, I think I could safely get $50 out of it.

as long as it's in good condition ebay sorta confirms that. A compatible stylus is about $25 if that helps
