Need help collecting data

I am working on a project for work and I need to give a survey to a large sample of people in the United States. I would like to remain as anonymous as possible through this process but I need to collect a sample where at least 30% of the results are from women.

I have thought about using the survey feature in Google Docs since it automatically collects data in a spreadsheet, but my problem is distributing it to a random group of people.

Anybody have any ideas how I can get my survey to a random group of people?

as for distributing it to people, i guess that's a bit of a difficult task.

You could post your request to forums, irc, blogs, etc. request it politely (as it might be considered advertisement or spam).

also ask your friends and family members to forward it to their contacts.
