I really need help with installing my HP Pavillion dv9005ca 's webcam. I'm really new to Ubuntu and installed it for the first time in my life just 5 days ago and everything is working really good even took me a while to set up wireless network and stuff but only thing which is still bugging me is webcam is not working. I tried to search over the net everything but no one really explained in clear words what should I do. Since i'm really new to Ubuntu I'm not that good with Terminal use and I really need the help in basic words. Please

I tried lsusb in the terminal and it shows this:
ammarvirk@ammarvirk-laptop:~$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 05ca:1870 Ricoh Co., Ltd Webcam 1000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

I have "Cheese" but it does not detect the webcam. Can someone please explain step by step guide what should i do? Because my experience with Ubuntu is sooooooo good that i can't imagine going back to Windows anymore but I really have to use Skype for chatting with my family and it's really bugging me that my webcam is not working in Ubuntu.

Thanks in advance if someone can help resolve my problem.

have a good day
