and while it says it's installed 9.10 64 bit properly I cannot boot into it as there no grub menu or the like at reboot, the copy of windows is xp home 32 bit, has yet to touch the internet, was installing from the cd, had intended to boot into ubuntu and get most everything I need for xp from there before unplugging and rebootingto lock t down.
