I've been having problems off and on with Ubuntu installs and I am back to not being able to get any install to work on this one specific machine.
It is running an Asus P45, E6750 CPU, Nvidia 8700, 4GB Corsair ram, I've tried various IDE and SATA HD's (about 15 different types).
I don't know what is going on. It makes me want to stop using Linux, as it is not reliable for various hardware. On top of that, I don't even get the same "error" each time I try to run 9.10 desktop. Sometimes it will stop at /etc/init.d/apparmor and other times it stops at Job_process.c:529 and then some Input/output error...
Is there something that I can do to make this work? Is there any more information that someone would need?
Note: I tried installing 9.10 server 64bit and it is past the Partitioning stage and seems to be working alright.
