Take a look at this. I think that some of the images make really cool desktop backgrounds, especially considering the orange/black color scheme.

Oh dear, somebody just found fractals.

Watch out, they are addictive!

Oh dear, somebody just found fractals.

I went to elementary school. I already knew what a fractal was. These are just super great cuz of the color scheme. Usually when people want a fractal to look good they don't use orange/brown/black.

I must have gone to a really crappy elementary school. No one ever taught me about fractals...

If you like fractals check this guys creations out.
You can request the sets in the correct resolution for your screen and he'll email a .zip fold of them to you.

Really? I guess I've looked at too many fractals, I've seen a lot of orange and black fractals. I've even got a few in that colour scheme in my 'fractals' folder, and orange normally does nothing for me. 2 minutes and I've already found a few good ones-

Same here. I even went to high school and nobody told me anything about fractals....

actually, i'm not even completely sure if the ones i posted have the geometric properties of true fractals. they are a plot of finitely many points. i'm pretty sure that if it were a fractal it would have to be a set with infinite cardinality.

oh yeah "elementary school"... definitely an exaggeration. but i definitely did work with fractals in math class in high school. just another weakness in the american public educational system. lol
